Built by a teacher.
Looking for a few more
FunLingua is small on purpose. We'd rather have thirty teachers who genuinely believe in this method than three hundred filling slots. If the pitch below sounds like you, we'd love to hear from you — if it doesn't, that's useful to know too.
What actually makes a good FunLingua teacher
None of this is about credentials. It's about temperament and belief.
- You believe in real-life language over grammar drills. The DLI method should feel like a relief, not a rulebook — the same thing our certification asks: why does the DLI method appeal to you?
- You're comfortable on camera and reasonably content-creation minded — lessons are built from real scenes, and teachers help shape them.
- You're patient with mistakes. An encourager, not a compulsive corrector. Students speak in the first three minutes; that only works if getting it wrong is safe.
- Speaking a little of the local market's language is a plus (Russian, Chinese, and so on) — never a requirement, on either track.
Getting absolute beginners speaking from lesson one. Either a native speaker who knows at least a little of the student's language, or a local (non-native) teacher whose target-language proficiency is above B2.
Native or native-level local teachers. Knowing the student's own language is a strong plus here, not a requirement — from A2 up, the lesson runs in the target language.
Open teaching roles
Filter by language and by level track. Applying takes you to the app — the same 4-step DLI certification path described on Become a Teacher.
English teachers — A2+ track
For learners already past the beginner stage. Native or native-level English speakers who teach real conversation, not grammar drills.
Apply on FunLingua →English teachers — Beginner-track (A0/A1)
Get absolute beginners speaking from lesson one. Native speakers with some of the student's language, or strong local teachers above B2.
Apply on FunLingua →Kids English teachers (8+)
Teach children 8 and up the way they actually absorb language — through play, story and imitation, never worksheets.
Apply on FunLingua →Turkish & Persian teachers — all tracks
Opening our Turkish and Persian tracks. Native or native-level speakers, beginner-track through A2+.
Apply on FunLingua →The salesperson opportunity
Separate from teaching: we work with a small number of salespeople who bring FunLingua to schools, companies, and communities. It's commission-based, it's reviewed and approved by an admin — there's no self-serve signup — and it suits people who already have a network and know how to talk about a product they believe in.
If that's you, tell us a little about yourself and what you'd bring. We follow up personally.
